Utopia - The Subs, Mati Drome, Goldfox & Maraschino

As the nights grow shorter and the energy rises, Utopia returns to Het Depot on April 30 for its 8th edition. By now, Utopia has built a solid reputation as a go-to club night, delivering high-energy techno and electro with an unmistakable touch of nostalgia.

The Subs

The Subs is a genre fluid electronic gang of 3 bringing crazy live shows the club scene. With these elements Belgian triumvirate One Track Brain, Ogenn and Tonic took the scene by storm.

With unforgettable live shows, electrifying synths and a deranged frontman The Subs have been charging the clubs and the charts for the past decade with their unique blend of absurd trancepunk blitz. Universal anthems, eclectic sounds and a tongue in cheek mindset; club music with big stage ambitions, but always honest and with a deep love for their craft and analogue gear.

Mati Drome

Mati Drome is perhaps the punkiest DJ Antwerp has to offer, and we say that in a good way. If the influences of the late great Keith Flint are obvious, Mati is a unique character of his own. 

Founder of the infamous Drag Me to Hell collective, he is known for throwing out-of-the-ordinary raves with dark themes and bizarre outfits. Behind the booth, Mati often dives into the harsh and ravey sounds of early uk hardcore, industrial and acid techno, with the odd mutant-like electro track here and there.

Goldfox

Goldfox is a key figure in Belgium's electronic music scene. With over 25 years behind the decks, he blends house, techno, rave, 808 electro, and breaks into dynamic sets. A resident at Fuse and Kompass, he’s also played Pukkelpop and Tomorrowland. Beyond DJing, he's a radio host, event curator, and founder of club Forty Five. Known for Rave Our Souls and Goldfox Invites, his passion drives every performance.

Maraschino

Maraschino's a night lover and a sound seeker. Her sets pulse with raw energy, weaving together heavyweight breaks, deep bass, and driving techno — always pushing forward with momentum. From gritty electro to percussive booty beats, she builds tension and release, locking the floor into motion.

Her love for sound runs deep, sparked by childhood memories of her mom blasting La Rocca classics on the road. That early exposure to high-energy club sounds shaped her instinct for

dancefloor electricity, a feeling she now channels into every set.
